Like it or not, here I am!!!

Hello all! My name is Katie and this is the very begining of my blog. Now, whether people will read it, like it, love it or hate it, I guess that's up to them. I encourage people to leave me comments if you think I did something great, offended you or you just feel like I need to know something. I guess I'll tell you all a little bit about myself and call it quits for now, I have some things to do around the house and I may come back and put in more. For starters, I was born and raised in Iowa. I have moved away 3 times and keep moving back everytime, so I guess it was meant to be. I work as a 911 dispatcher full time for our county and while the pay isn't the greatest, my co-workers are and it's a very rewarding job. I am divorced and live w/ my dog Bailey and my cat Zoe. They will appear in here often I'm sure as they are my babies. I have an older sister who married her high school sweetheart and I have 2 nephews and 1 niece. I see them every chance I get, but since they live about 3 hours away, it's not as often as I like. I am done w/ my Christmas shopping, so you can hate me for that and am starting my Christmas baking this weekend. I love to scrapbook, quilt and craft in general. I just got done re-doing and re-arranging my craft/quilting/scrapbooking room tonight and will post a pic of it soon. Well, I think that's all I have for now. I have to run to work real quick here, I need to take some time off for jaw surgery coming up...that's a whole different posting at a different time. Take care!!!! Kates
